It’s the communicators who make the difference
Sometimes everything just falls into place. That’s exactly what we thought when we heard about the Swiss Museum Prize: ‘Best Mediation for All Generations’. Creating meaningful experiences is our greatest strength. Our communicators are present throughout the exhibitions, acting as hosts, engaging with all visitors. They spark conversations and initiate dialogue – with all generations, and between all generations.
A playful introduction can quickly lead to a shared conversation here: for example, a reverse Monopoly game, where the aim is to get rid of your money, even though interest keeps accumulating. This naturally leads to a lively discussion about money. Or a duel between a communicator and artificial intelligence: Who does better at what? Who would I trust with what? Conversations between visitors about AI are sparked and unfold differently every time. Visitors of different generations listen to one another, complement each other or disagree. In this way, the exhibition becomes a space where experiences meet – and new perspectives emerge.
The impact of this approach is clear: in visitor surveys, 98 % of guests rate their museum visit as good or very good. What matters most is not simply satisfaction, but the lasting experience of having been part of a shared dialogue.
The Swiss Museum Prize
The new Swiss Museum Award was launched by the Swiss Museum Pass to recognize the diversity and commitment of museums across Switzerland. At the heart of the prize is the public: you help decide which museum will be recognized for its outstanding achievements in 2026.
