Getting here

We would recommend that you visit our museum by public transport. Because we have no parking spaces to offer you, we would advise against travelling by car.

By public transport: From Bern railway station by tram no. 6 (direction “Worb”) or tram no. 7 (direction “Ostring”) or tram no. 8 (direction “Saali”) to “Helvetiaplatz” stop. Turn left and walk approximately 300 metres, past the Historical Museum (Helvetiastrasse).

By car: exit the motorway at Bern Ostring and drive towards Thunplatz. Continue to Helvetiaplatz. Unfortunately, the museum has no parking facilities.

Publibike

The bicycle is the fastest means of travel in Bern. When you buy an online ticket to our museum, you receive a discount code which allows you to purchase a Day Pass from our mobility partner Publibike for CHF 17 instead of CHF 29.
